Structures of peanut shelling machine

Time:2016-06-28

There are mainly two types of shelling structures adopted by the peanut shelling machine:
1. steel rasp bar or steel grid concave structure mainly for striking and rubbing;
2. rubber roller or rubber floating concave structure mainly for squeezing and rubbing.
The former has the disadvantage of high crushing rate of peanut, while the shelling efficiency and threshing performance of the latter is not high. The peanut shelling machine is composed of the frame, fan, rotor, single-phase motor, screen (bigger and smaller sizes), feed hopper, vibration sieve, triangular belt-wheel and the transmission v-belt and other components. When the machine is in normal operation, feed the peanut in quantitative, uniform and continuous way into the hopper. Through repeated crushing, friction and collision of the rotor, peanut shells would be broken. Peanut kernels and broken peanut shells flow through the screen of certain aperture (screen with large aperture should be used for the first shelling; after selecting and cleaning of small fruit, screen with small aperture is used for second shelling) under the rotating pressure and blow of the rotor. Then, under the blowing of the rotating fan, peanut shells with light weight would be blown out of the machine, while peanut kernels are filtered by the vibration screen to achieve the purpose of cleaning.
